First, please note that the cancellation policy below applies only to guests who make reservations through our official reservation form.
It does not apply to reservations made through other booking websites.
If you made your reservation through another booking website,
the cancellation policy of that website will apply.
Please be aware of this in advance.

1. Cancellation or Change of Reservation by the Guest

1. Guests may cancel their accommodation reservation by contacting Nalu Resort...
2. Partial changes to a reservation, such as reducing the number of guests or nights, are in principle also subject to the cancellation policy.

2. Cancellation Fees

1. Cancellation fees are as follows:
   • 14 to 8 days before the stay: 30% of the accommodation fee
   • 7 to 3 days before the stay: 50% of the accommodation fee
   • 2 days before to the day before the stay: 80% of the accommodation fee
   • Cancellation on the day of stay: 100% of the accommodation fee
   • No-show: 100% of the accommodation fee
2. No cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made 15 days or more before the scheduled stay.
3. The cancellation period and rates may vary depending on the booking website used.
4. Any handling fees associated with cancellation will be deducted from the refund amount.
   Guests will not be asked to make any additional payment by bank transfer or other means.

3. Same-Day Cancellation / No-Show

1. If a guest does not contact us and has not arrived by 15:00 on the check-in date
   or by the scheduled arrival time notified in advance,
   the reservation will be treated as a same-day cancellation,
   and the prescribed cancellation fee will be charged.
2. This does not apply if the reason for cancellation is beyond the guest’s control and can be proven.

4. Cancellation Due to Natural Disasters Such as Typhoons

1. [On the day of stay]
   If transportation is cancelled, does not arrive, is delayed, suspended,
   or if roads around the facility are closed due to typhoons or other natural disasters,
   and you are unable to visit the facility,
   no cancellation fee will be charged.
   If your transportation is cancelled or suspended, please be sure to contact us.
   However, as we cannot confirm the status of transportation ourselves,
   if a guest does not contact us and does not arrive on the day,
   the reservation will be treated as a same-day cancellation,
   and the prescribed cancellation fee will be charged.
2. This does not apply if the reason for cancellation is beyond the guest’s control and can be proven.

5. Cancellation Related to COVID-19 or Other Infectious Diseases

1. If a guest cancels due to fever, cough, or other health issues,
   or cancels at their own discretion as part of COVID-19 or other infectious disease prevention measures,
   the cancellation will be treated as a guest convenience cancellation,
   and the prescribed cancellation fee will be charged.
2. This does not apply if the cancellation is made in consideration of a state of emergency or equivalent declaration issued by the national or local government.
