“First of all, please note that the cancellation policy below applies only to guests who booked through our reservation form. It does not apply to cancellations made by guests who booked through other websites. If you booked through another site, the cancellation policy of that site will apply, so please take note.”

1. [Cancellation / Changes to Reservations by Guests]

1. Guests may cancel their reservation by contacting Nalu Resort....
2. As a general rule, the cancellation policy also applies to partial changes to a reservation, such as a reduction in the number of guests or a shortening of the stay.

2. [Cancellation Fees]

1. Cancellation fees are as follows.
   • 14 to 8 days before arrival: 30% of the accommodation fee
   • 7 to 3 days before arrival: 50% of the accommodation fee
   • 2 days before arrival to the day before arrival: 80% of the accommodation fee
   • Same-day cancellation: 100% of the accommodation fee
   • No-show: 100% of the accommodation fee
2. No cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made 15 days or more before the scheduled stay date.
3. The cancellation period and rates may vary depending on the travel booking site used.
4. Any fees associated with cancellation will be offset against the refund amount, so guests will not be asked to make any additional payment by bank transfer or otherwise.

3. [Same-Day Cancellation / No-show]

1. If a guest does not contact us and fails to arrive by 15:00 on the day of stay (or by the scheduled arrival time if one has been provided in advance), the reservation will be treated as a same-day cancellation and the prescribed cancellation fee will be charged.
2. This does not apply if the reason for the same-day cancellation is beyond the guest’s control and can be proven.

4. [Cancellations Due to Natural Disasters Such as Typhoons]

1. [On the day]
   If you are unable to reach the property due to transportation cancellations, delays, suspensions, or road closures around the property caused by natural disasters such as typhoons,
   no cancellation fee will be charged. Please be sure to contact us in the event of flight cancellations or service suspensions.
   However, as we are unable to independently verify transportation conditions, if a guest neither contacts us nor arrives on the day of stay, the reservation will be treated as a same-day cancellation and the prescribed cancellation fee will be charged.
2. This does not apply if the reason for the same-day cancellation is beyond the guest’s control and can be proven.

5. [Cancellations Related to COVID-19 or Other Infectious Diseases]

1. If you cancel due to fever, coughing, poor physical condition, or based on your own judgment as part of precautions against COVID-19 or other infectious diseases, the cancellation will be treated as a cancellation for personal reasons and the prescribed cancellation fee will be charged.
2. However, this does not apply if the cancellation is made in consideration of a state of emergency or similar declaration issued by the national or local government.
